Hello FNAF Fangame Wiki! Apologies for the inactivity, after finals I was completely burn out and, no matter how hard I tried, I just COULDN'T edit. As a result, Feburary's Monthly Wiki Devlog will most likely be merged with another month depen ding onwhen I make an official return. Happy New Year, FNAF Fangame Wiki! If you've seen my previous announcement, you shall now know that all Monthly Wiki Devlogs are now scheduled for the first month of each year!! I can't promise 100% that I'll manage to keep this schedule up as its entirely dependent on how much progress I make overall and if its willing to have its own entire update dedicated to it however I can guarantee that these last three months without updates have been put to good use! Clarification + Minor update
...Hi guys! It's been a WHILE, hasn't it? I think around... two months? That's crazy to even think about! To be frank I really wanted to push this update earlier however I found it fitting to release it towards New Years Eve because, quite frankly, it coincides with the brand new schedule for the Monthly Wiki Devlogs. Anyways, without further ado, here's just a minor update to where I've been!

Monthly Wiki Devlog (10/20/2024)
I'm not even kidding when I say this:
I have made barely any progress here. Aside from finishing the entirety of Fun Time with Homer's, finish all of the Animator Hell's gameplay mechanics, and writing an article for Captain Spike and Luna the Otter, I have not made any other progress. Actually I have done more stuff but it's most technical and behind the scenes. Midterms also crashed this entire thing so I've been super busy as of late.
Expect me to prioritize the Playtime with Percy Wiki, Broadside Beach Wiki, and Popee and Buddies Wiki this entire month!! :)

This blog post is made for the purposes of teaching people how to rip assets from fangames for use on the wiki and other miscellaneous use. I will go over the many different possible engines that FNAF Fangames may use, and how to cleanly extract things like Sprites, Audio, Models/Animations (and how to make proper GIFs for those animations) etc. Keep in mind that I can't account for every possible engine or method a fangame uses to store it's assets, so if you can't find a method for your specific fangame, then let me know and I'll see if I can find a workaround. As you may know, we are slowly making progress on remastering this entire wiki, and I would say everything is coming along excellent!
