FazbearArchive.com, otherwise known as the Fazbear Archive ARG or BLOOD & GEARS ARG, is an ongoing alternate reality game held by Five Nights at Freddy's: BLOOD & GEARS to shed light on the history of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place and its former establishments prior to the events of the game, which is set to release in the near future.

Initially, the ARG began with the announcement of the HelpyPAL website on the BLOOD & GEARS Twitter/X account. The website was officially introduced in the BLOOD & GEARS Post-Night demo. On August 7, 2024, the FazbearArchive.com website was officially revealed days after fans accidently located the account linked to the BLOOD & GEARS Twitter/X account. Since then, the website has provided an in-depth look at the entire history of Fazbear Entertainment, its owners, and any lost media discovered a decade after its closure.

The ARG revolves around a group of four people: Brooke, Liam, Elijah, and Noah, as they collectively run a website and accounts dedicated to archiving the history of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place years after its closure in 2003. Exactly eleven years later, the team banded together to uncover and shed light on various lost media found within the company, showcasing various relics from the company including animatronics, commercials, promotional material, and more.

As of April 20, 2025, the ARG is still ongoing, continuing to offer in-universe insights into Freddy Fazbear and the band. It has also highlighted various past locations leading up to the one featured in Five Nights at Freddy's: BLOOD & GEARS, including Fredbear's Family Diner, as well as a load of other media such as photos, videos, audio recordings, entire YouTube channels, and more.

The archive currently offers two websites, including FazbearArchive.com and HelpyPAL.com.

History

HelpyPAL.com

On July 4, 2024, the HelpyPAL website was officially revealed to the public.[1] The site showcased an outdated digital assistant designed for early Windows XP systems last renewed in 2002. Originally an automation program for Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, HelpyPAL now provides assistance online. While the website offered limited features, it used to allow users to provide feedback on the software.[2] After submitting feedback, a response would be sent by Helpy regarding the subject matter. Shortly thereafter, however, an automated email would be sent to the user, stating that they wished to send their photo booth photograph to the provided email address. The attached image depicted Freddy Fazbear shrouded in darkness.

The founders of the HelpyPAL website, MK Brooke and Liam, eventually banded with two additional individuals to establish FazbearArchive.com.[3]

FazbearArchive.com

On August 1, 2024, fans discovered the FazbearArchive.com site ahead of its official launch through its Twitter account. According to the person who discovered it, they found it through the following list of one of the developers on Twitter. The Fazbear Archive account included a link to the Fazbear Archive site, which was still in development at the time. Before the site was taken down, fans quickly uploaded its content to the Wayback Machine, but unfortunately, most of the images featured on the site were lost during that process.[4] The site would remain temporarily hidden from the public until August 7, 2024.

On August 7, FazbearArchive.com was officially revealed to the public through the Blood & Gears Twitter account, which had shared a tweet linking to the new site. The account featured two tweets: a pinned tweet and another announcing the site’s launch. The pinned tweet indicated that four individuals managed the account: Brooke, Liam, Elijah, and Noah, each represented by an emoji: a mouse, frog, party hat, and sunflower, respectively.[5] The site closely resembles its current version, with the exception of new additions to the Archive tab. The website itself provides character descriptions for each character, including several new ones such as Chica's Magic Rainbow, Fredbear, Bonnie Rabbit, Sparky the Dog, The Puppet, and more.[6]

The FazbearArchive.com site also features a comprehensive timeline of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, encompassing events both before and after the game series. This timeline details the history of the original establishment, Fredbear's Family Diner, which opened on April 3, 1979. The diner was shortly rebranded as Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place following the incident known as The Bite of 1983. Despite efforts to revive the brand through themed initiatives such as HelpyPAL, the attempts ultimately did not succeed, leading to its closure in 2003, after which the company trademark was acquired by Burrows Industries.[7]

Throughout the remainder of August, Liam and Elijah continued to post fun facts about Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place and its history. Their posts included details about cut production of show tapes,[8] original songs,[9] and unofficial creepypastas.[10] They also engaged the audience by asking various questions directed at their followers, such as their favorite memories from Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place and their favorite characters, held by Liam.

Freddy's Rebrand Commercial

On September 1, 2024, in celebration of Labor Day, Noah made his official first tweet from the account, detailing his process of uncovering a commercial that aired announcing the rebrand from Fredbear's Family Diner to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place in 1984. In the post, he shared the journey of searching for such media, starting with a conversation with an unnamed employee, a friend who had worked at Fazbear Entertainment. During their discussion, Noah learned that his friend had once worn the Freddy Fazbear costume in an old commercial as a part-time job, although he was forced to work double shifts, being payed $50 dollars to even stay despite the rough conditions of the stuffy suit. The tweet included two behind-the-scenes images of Noah's friend in the costume on set, as well as two images from their conversation. The four images collectively contained a secret that led to a YouTube video.

Hidden within the two behind-the-scenes images were clues leading to a part of an Imgur URL concealed on a box behind the Freddy suit in one image, as well as Morse code located on another box in the second image, which depicted a desk with the commercial script and clapboard. The Morse code was extracted from the image and decoded to reveal the following:

"- ---/... .--. . .- -.-/ -- -.--/ .-- --- .-. -.. ... .-.-.-" or translated to reveal "TO SPEAK MY WORDS."

Additionally, on that same image, more Morse code can be extracted from the black cup on the desk to reveal the following:

".-. . -- . -- -... . .-./ - .... ./ -.-- . .- .-./ - .... .- -/ -.-- --- ..- / .-. .- -. / ..-. --- .-." or translated to reveal "REMEMBER THE YEAR THAT YOU RAN FOR."

The Imgur URL was discovered by importing the scrambled URL, which read as shown below, into a Caesar cipher (hinted at through Johan's texts stating that he doesn't like Caesar salad) and brute-forcing all possibilities until the viewer successfully identified the combination "com" as the first three letters. By intentionally shifting the "/n/" to "/a/" and implementing that change into an Imgur link, players unlocked the second part of the ARG, which involved a passlocked RAR file.

"jvt/u/hEgFzx5" brute-forced into "com/n/aXzYsq5" and then replacing the /n/ to form "com/a/aXzYsq5" to finally reach this Imgur link.

The Imgur link leads to three individual components: an image, a link, and a hint. The image depicts a riddle with the words "hate," "ask," "agony," "relief," and "WHAT AM I" highlighted in bold red. The link directs to a MediaFire page, which contains a RAR file named "What Is the riddle.rar," requiring a password for access. The third aspect includes a series of clues suggesting that the code consists of five symbols. Given the capitalized nature of the hint and applying context to the riddle, entering "TRUTH" in all capital letters successfully opened the RAR file. Upon entering such, five files, including three TXT files and three image files will be moved into the players drive.

One specific image showcased a YouTube channel with the handle "JohanParker1990." Searching through YouTube through its method of cataloging users through URLs leads you to Johan Parker's channel, which contains a single upload titled "80's Kids TV Commercials Compilation." At exactly 3:47, a fake commercial for the brand new Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place appears, leading to the conclusion of the Labor Day puzzle. However, an email address can be found in the description of the video, serving as Johan's real email address. Additionally found in the description reveals that the video contained a series of commercials that Johan Parker directed prior to his death.

Anonymous Storage Unit

Shortly before September ended, on September 22, 2024, Liam made another post showcasing a series of old relics from Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, sent by an anonymous source who claimed to have an uncle who was an "avid Freddy's collector." While no hidden puzzle was found in the image, many exciting reveals were contained in the sole image. Through Liam's analysis, he identified a walk-around Freddy Fazbear suit from 1984, a prototype version of Freddy Fazbear's animatronic plush suit, Generation-01 mechs, including one fitted with a prototype Bonnie the Bunny walk-around suit, a taken-apart Chica's Magic Rainbow mech sitting alongside key-art depicting an illustration for Bouncepot, a Generation-01 Foxy head, and, most importantly, a Generation-02 Freddy Fazbear head reminiscent of Toy Freddy from Five Nights at Freddy's 2.[11]

Johan Parker "Final Copy Draft"

Throughout the entire month of October, the Fazbear Archive remained silent, but activity increased starting in November. Before the next puzzle was revealed, one small update occurred. On November 5, a fan photoscanned a digital cover of the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place Employee Handbook and sent it to the account for Elijah to post.[12]

On November 28, in celebration for Thanksgiving Day, the YouTube account Johan Parker, which was previously revealed to be ran by his unnamed offspring, revealed a "Final copy draft" of an old script dedicated to the commercial previously found in September.[13] The writer specifically mentions her confusion as to why the paper wasn't titled "Final draft copy." Hidden in the bottom of the draft contained a code which, like the process in September, involved brute-forcing the text to Ceasar cipher to get ".com" and then use it as a Imgur link.[14]

"gay/m/8-9-1-9-9-0-1Y3547" decoded with a Ceaser ciphers reveals "com/a/8-9-1-9-9-0-1M3547" to reach this Imgur link.

In the Imgur link, a fraction of a newspaper article can be seen detailing the death of an Arizona resident who died after a car had crashed into his motorcycle. Below the newspaper, however, a encoded sequence of letters can be seen. By putting this sequence of letters into the Ceaser cipher as well, the viewer can get the following message:

THE SHEEP DIED AND GAVE THE WOLF SOMETHING TO WEAR

HE STALKS AS THE SHEEP AND LEAVE CRUMBS FOR THOSE TO FOLLOW

FOR HIS GOALS TO YOU ARE UNKNOWN BUT THOSE WHO FACE HIS WRATH KNOW WHAT THEY DID TO ANGER THE BEAST

THEY FLEW TO HIGH AND DOING SO THE WAX OF THEIR WINGS BURNED OFF

LEADING THEM TO FALL TO THEIR DEATH.

FEED THESE DUCKS THEIR CRUMBS AND ALLOW THE BEAST TO DISTURB THEIR PEACE

By continuing to shift the arrangement of letters solely for the link, rather than the verses, the player will eventually uncover a Google Drive link after shifting each letter 43 times from a-o. From this point, the Google Drive offered three individual riddles hidden inside of each other, requiring fans to solve three riddles to eventually unlock the third RAR file, which housed the conclusive teaser. All riddles for the three locked files can be found below alongside the other images.

  • The first riddle centered around an alive being which required the sun to live, and when fans noticed that Noah used a sunflower emoji to represent himself on the Fazbear Archive Twitter account, fans quickly guessed "SUNFLOWER," leading to a folder housing a second riddle and locked RAR file.
  • The second riddle combined four concepts (FROG, MOUSE, SUNSHINE, CELEBRATE) and asked what their ultimate goal was. Players quickly correlated those four concepts to the four moderators of the Fazbear Archive account (Brooke, Liam, Elijah, Noah), specifically the emoji each moderator uses to represent themselves. Upon inputting the password "ARCHIVE," in relation to the teams goal of archiving all media related to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, a third riddle featuring a third riddle and locked RAR file.
  • The third riddle was more straightforward, referencing "in our timeline" (in reference to the players) a game featuring a bear and his relation to a festival. Fans quickly connected this to FallFest, which was heavily speculated to be a major location first depicted in Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2. Upon entering the code "FALLFEST," the folder opened to reveal a single image instead of another riddle.

After successfully opening the third RAR file, players uncovered a screenshot of someone's Reddit account with the handle "/u/_Scarabzilla_38891."[15] This account appeared to belong to a random in-universe person and, according to their most recent post, had recently been tasked with cleaning the Supply Closet at an unknown location. The post included three images, one of which featured an upside-down poster for FallFest, in which Scarabzilla commented, "nobody gonna give a FUCK about that shit, surprised it wasn't thrown away lmao." On this particular image, a string of letters was hidden on a yellow bucket. While fans were confused at first, it was eventually discovered that this string of letters decoded a broken message if put into an A1Z26 cipher.

"1 / 23-15; 12;6;-;19,3-5-5,-16.-, - 19, 11, 9-14 ;-; 7, 11:2;20;6-26;2" inputted to reveal "A-WOLF-SHEEP-SKIN-GKBTFZB" and organized to read "A/WOLF-SHEEP-SKIN-GKBTFZB."

Continuing the trend of Imgur links, inputting the organized sequence of words revealed another Imgur link that showcased an image of an email sent by Jacob Parker from Johan's email account.[16] In the email, he inquired with an unknown user referred to only as "Icicle" about any relics related to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, following a surge of interest from viewers (canonically the players solving the ARG) who were eager for more relics. Within the same Imgur link, there was also a Google Drive link containing a file named "PRIZE.rar." Unlike the previous RAR files, this one was locked and came with no accompanying riddle. Due to the Imgur Link highlighting three words in its title (THE, WOLF, and SKIN), fans entered "THEWOLFSKIN" as the password, leading to success and discovering a drive dedicated to a drive dedicated to an unknown person, implied to be a murderer who cataloged his victims as well as monitoring the Fazbear Archive and their moderators, who were shortly revealed to have their own dedicated Twitter accounts.

Inside the drive, one video stands out alongside the folders. In "MESSAGE.mp4," a grayscale image of Freddy Fazbear with human eyes is displayed, accompanied by the text "1 John 2:16." In the background, Morse code plays audibly. Upon decoding the Morse code, the message "DA MIHI FACTUM, DABO TIBI IUS" is revealed, which translates from Latin to English as "GIVE ME THE FACT, I WILL GIVE YOU THE RIGHT." As hinted in PLAYER.txt, the player is instructed to "message the sheep in wolf's clothing," which directs them to send that verse to Johan Parker's email address linked back to September.

Upon sending the email, it automatically replies with an unlisted YouTube video titled "MESSAGE." In the background of this video, a series of high-pitch audio waves can be heard. After downloading the video and inputting the audio into a spectrogram, the player ultimately concludes the hunt with a message that reads, "AND FOR YOUR COOPERATION, I WILL GIVE YOU THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH, AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH."

Lost Fallfest Commercial

On April 16, 2025, the Fazbear Archive Twitter account published a post by Liam Bradford, calling on fans of Fazbear Entertainment to assist in their search for a lost commercial whose origins have been completely wiped; the only remnant is a mere post dedicated to it on a forum site titled Drybones, showcasing user "Lumishoots" asking about a missing Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place commercial dated November 18, 2012. Another user, "Econrex2001," commented and explained that the commercial was related to "that local fall festival" which occurred annually prior to its closing. Furthermore, Noah Gorecki commented with information indicating the commercial was directed by Johan Parker, whose account has since been suspected of being hijacked. Following Fazbear Archive's public interest in the advertisement, Johan Parker finally posted a compilation of the commercial, along with a community post titled "October 1989," containing a picture of a pumpkin carved in the shape of a school as seen in the Halloween II movie airing announcement seen in one of the commercials in the compilation. When fans inquired Gorecki in regards to its relevance, it was hinted for fans to focus on the present instead of the past nor present stating, "Information is always given it seems."

Upon opening Johan Parker's brand new video, a series of Halloween-themed commercials will play out. Discovered within the description of the 80s Halloween Commercial Compilation contained a ciphered message with a jumbled link. As fans viewed the contents of the video, hidden clues would flash for mere seconds throughout each video containing a number alongside a striking eye and, at the end of the video, for the last remaining seconds, instructs the player to "FIND MY EYES."

  1. 7 at 2:10
  2. 5 at 4:54
  3. 8 at 7:48
  4. 0 at 11:05
  5. 6 at 13:23
  6. 3 at 15:57
  7. 2 at 17:38
  8. 9 at 22:17

While fans managed to crack the code through brute force, the initial plan was for them to locate all the numbers, combine them into a single number, and decipher the description by shifting the text accordingly. This process ultimately yielded the code 75806329, which in turn revealed the link to a Google Drive folder.[17] Just before the link, a passage written by an unidentified entity would be included, continuing from their last promise to reveal the truth after managing to reach a point where they reach a point where they are no longer being watched by an unknown character, referred to with female pronouns, who was detailed to have her attention fixed on their actions up until regaining a lost memory which temporarily distracted her.

And so the clock keeps ticking. Back and forth it swings, a reminder of the time we’ve lost. I once promised you the truth. A promise that has yet to be delivered, for she kept a close eye until now. Something new has captured her attention, a memory of something lost. Her eye no longer watches. I can finally make good on my promise. You wanted truth so I give you a truth, not one of importance but one of integrity. I may be a sinner but I am no liar. Now it is your turn to dig, for you made a deal with the devil.

Unknown Entity in 80's Halloween ad compilation

Upon downloading the contents of the Google Drive, a folder titled "MISSINGPERSON.rar" would be revealed. After extracting the folder's contents, two image files titled "RUBY.png" and "THOMPSON.png" alongside a text file named "LostSouls.txt" would be accessible to the player. The image files depicted previous victims previously depicted within an earlier drive provided by the unknown entity during the investigation of Johan Parker's "Final Copy Draft." Additionally, the "LostSouls.txt" file featured the same striking eye seen in previous clues, accompanied by a passage written by the unknown entity. In this passage, they detail their involvement in the deaths of Ruby G. Monohue and Thomas P. Langford, describing themselves as a "true artist" who created abstract pieces of art using the murdered bodies of Monohue and Detective Langford. The text describes how they hollowed out Monohue's insides and mutilated Langford's body to present as gruesome artwork to officers who managed to locate their bodies following Langford's disappearance.

While the text file provided no leads, the missing posters hid text within the prints. When investigating Thomas' MISSING poster, various underlined letters reveal the term "DECEPTION." However, more significantly, hidden within the coffee splatter on Ruby's MISSING poster reveals a faded line of text linking to another Google Drive link.[18] When opening the Google Drive, a folder titled "MISSINGBUTFOUND," created by Johan Parker, provides a ZIP file and another folder, interestingly titled "FALLFESTIVAL_PASSWORD," containing another ZIP file. Upon downloading the Google Drive and opening the first ZIP file, a password prompt appears. By using "deception," as aforementioned in Thompson's MISSING poster, a series of images organized by filename, with many files including a heavily improvised YouTube link done with mere text due to Windows filename restrictions on external symbols. Upon deciphering each image file name and opening the link, players will eventually be redirected to a video uploaded on Johan Parker's YouTube channel entirely titled with binary, alongside a lengthy description of a similar nature.

When deciphering the title, it is revealed to be "DAYDREAMING.mp4." Furthermore, upon decoding the description, a series of lines of text resembling Command Prompt commands appear, presumably depicting the unknown entity attempting to upload DAYDREAMING.mp4 to Brooke Monohan's YouTube channel before failing due to her client not responding to their breach attempts for reasons that remain unclear. The contents of the video itself are brief, showing a grayscale montage of multiple low-quality recordings that vary in content, including some related to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, callbacks to Fredbear's Family Diner, HelpyPAL, and the two most notable sightings: The Puppet and their connection to the striking eye seen earlier and a brief frame displaying an image of a Hexahue Deciphering Tool, which hinted towards utilizing the images' contents which resembled color combinations that can be inputted into the deciphering tool to generate text. Upon deciperhing all the images, it led to the code "COLORADOBUNNYMAN".

The provided code granted players access to the second password-protected file located inside the FALLFESTIVAL_PASSWORD folder. During the initial real-time solving of the ARG, the folder contained five separate RAR files, all of which could be unlocked by entering "COLORADOBUNNYMAN" as the password. Each RAR archive contained a folder with 30 copies of blank images titled "THEPUPPET - Copy (#).png". When brightened, these images revealed a heavily processed look at The Puppet's facial features. According to the ARG's director, JustSomeGold, the intended experience was for fans to search through all five RAR files and brighten each copy until they found one outlier; that being an image that, when brightened, contained a link alongside the Puppet. For players solving the ARG in real time, the outlier was the 30th picture in the fifth RAR file. When brightened, this image contained a YouTube link that, upon visiting, ultimately led to the FallFest commercial. The commercial depicted Freddy Fazbear announcing their expected cameo at the local Fall Festival in celebration of their reopening, and more interesting, featured a corrupted segment showing The Puppet springing to life from her music box.

Furthermore, in the description, a Hexadecimal cipher was located in the description which, upon decoding, revealed the following passage:

YOU FOLLOWED THE RABBIT DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE AND LOOK WHERE THAT GOT YOU ALICE. I HAVE KEPT MY PROMISE, THIS IS ONLY THE START TO SHOW THAT I AM ONE OF HONOR, YOU WILL KEEP FOLLOWING ME DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE FOR I GIVE YOU WHAT THE OTHERS IN THEIR HIGH CASTLE COULDNT, GIVE ME FAITH AND I WILL GIVE YOU TRUTHS

Unknown Entity in Freddy Fazbear Pizza tie in Fallfest commercial (1989)

It is worth noting that, when attempting to backtrack through the ARG as of today, instead of five RAR files each containing the same Puppet image, the Google Drive folder has been updated to a single RAR file using the same password. This updated file still conceals the same image and serves the same purpose in the puzzle.
