History
In 2016, Lylly made her debut as an independent developer with the release of Super FNaF, one of the most remarkable fangames of its time. The game garnered praise from YouTubers such as FusionZGamer and Dawko for its innovative use of pixel art, compelling exploration of the previously vague lore depicted during the first three Five Nights at Freddy's game and other standout features.
With the success of Super FNaF, Lylly resolved to build upon the success of the series. Even as early as the first game, Lylly had hinted at plans to introduce the cast of Sister Location in a poster, and this became a point of eager anticipation for fans.
On July 17, 2017, a teaser showcasing Circus Baby concealed on her stage. This teaser was prominently featured on the Gamejolt page for Super FNaF, which is now archived. Lylly announced that this would be the final release before concluding the Super FNaF series after three years, following the third year anniversary of the original game.
Before the release of the Gameplay Trailer, Lylly released a troll game on April of 2017 teased to be a demo for Super FNaF 2: Wonderful Day. This game would proceed to be a troll game featuring the Trash and the Gang, notable gag characters first appearing in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator.
By August 14, 2017, Lylly had ramped up excitement for the upcoming sequel further by releasing a trailer for the game. This trailer showcased a vintage, analog computer loading a "Recovered" version of a program created by Afton Intelligence, following the deletion of 363 files.
After several months of anticipation, Lylly finally released the gameplay trailer for Super FNaF 2: Wonderful Day. This trailer gave players a glimpse of what they could expect from the game's mechanics, environments, and characters. In the months that followed, Lylly continued to release teasers and development logs.
During this period, Lylly also made the decision to take down Super FNaF because she disagreed with some actions in the game, particularly the canonical decision to forgive William Afton and set his soul free along with the other murdered children.
Unfortunately, as development progressed, Lylly realized that she was not fully satisfied with the quality of the game's sprites. In a difficult decision, she announced that she would be postponing the game's release until an undetermined future date, in order to remake most of the game's sprites and ensure that they lived up to her high standards of quality. With this decision, Lylly abandoned her collaborating project with Kane Carter titled POPGOES Finale,
As of August 2023, Super FNaF 2: Wonderful Day was reported to be near completion, requiring only a few minor tweaks before it was ready for release. However, to the dismay of fans, Lylly went silent for an entire year without any updates on the game's progress or release date.
